Security
CU-ICAR reserves the right to require that security be present at the event at the expense of the reserving group. The Carolina First Gallery and Innovation Place Roof Garden are under 24-hour video surveillance.
Catering and alcohol
Catering is at the discretion of the requestor. The CU-ICAR Partnership Office is not responsible for scheduling or managing catering for any special event. Requestor representatives must be present to manage all aspects of catering and alcohol setup. There are no food preparation or staging areas available. Catering on the CU-ICAR campus is open to all properly licensed providers.
Use of alcohol by Clemson University groups falls under the Policy Regarding Use of University Facilities and Grounds.
Furnishings and equipment (tables, chairs, audiovisual equipment, etc.)
Furnishings in all venues are the responsibility of the requestor. The CU-ICAR Partnership Office is not responsible for scheduling or managing setup or removal of furnishings or equipment for any special event. The requestor must be present at all times to manage setup and removal.
Existing furnishings or equipment in the venue may not be removed for special events without prior approval from the CU-ICAR property manager. Costs associated with removing furnishings or equipment will be in addition to the use rate.
Decorations
Only freestanding decorations or table decorations are allowed in these facilities. Hanging or taping materials on ceilings, walls or any other facility component is prohibited. No changes or modifications may be made to any facility. All items, such as props and/or decorations must be removed from the area immediately after the event. Decorations with glitter or open flame are strictly prohibited. The reserving organization will be responsible for any damages.
